All wallet top-up transactions are strictly final, non-refundable, and CANNOT BE WITHDRAWN or cashed out under any circumstance. Top-up balances represent digital credits solely intended for purchasing and unlocking lifetime downloads on this platform ($0.50 per book). Please only top up the exact amount you wish to contribute and spend on e-books.
1. Website Support & Fundraising Model
Book Share KH offers free online reading for all readers worldwide without requiring any subscription or payment. To sustain this service, we rely on community contributions:
- Infrastructure Expenses: Cloud servers, high-capacity file storage for e-books (PDF & EPUB), automated backups, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
- Digital Book Purchases ($0.50): Each book download fee of $0.50 directly funds server upkeep and storage costs for that title, providing the buyer with permanent lifetime access to both PDF and EPUB formats.
- Donations & Sponsorships: Community members who donate $1 or more receive ad-free access on the website as our token of appreciation.
2. Wallet Top-Up Terms & Strict No-Withdrawal Policy
When adding funds to your Book Share KH account balance via KHQR (Bakong / ABA Bank) or Cryptocurrency (USDT BEP-20):
- Non-Withdrawable Balances: All balances in your wallet are digital store credits dedicated solely to unlocking book downloads on Book Share KH. You cannot withdraw, transfer back to bank accounts, or exchange your wallet balance for cash or external fiat/crypto currencies.
- No Refunds: Because all top-ups contribute directly to immediate server infrastructure commitments and digital goods delivery, all completed top-ups are strictly non-refundable once approved by our verification system.
- Accurate Payment Proofs: Users must submit legitimate, unaltered transaction receipts or transaction hashes. Falsified payment proofs will result in permanent suspension of the user account.
- No Balance Expiration: Approved wallet balance does not expire; you may utilize it to purchase and download e-books at your own pace.
3. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to deliver our services, authenticate accounts, and verify digital book access:
- Account Information: When you register or sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture avatar.
- Transaction & Proof Data: When submitting a top-up request, we collect your specified payment method, transaction reference/hash, and uploaded screenshot proof to verify receipt of funds.
- Library & Reading Data: We record which books you have purchased to ensure you maintain permanent lifetime access, as well as optional online reading bookmarks and community reviews.
- Technical & Log Data: Non-personal technical data including IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited to protect against malicious abuse.
- Financial Credentials (What We NEVER Collect): We do not collect or store your banking PINs, bank passwords, credit card numbers, or private cryptocurrency keys. All payments occur externally in your own banking or crypto app.
4. Book Purchases & Lifetime Access
Book Share KH offers digital e-books in PDF and EPUB formats:
- Price & Inclusions: Books are available to purchase for $0.50 using wallet balance. Purchasing a book unlocks lifetime access to download both PDF and EPUB formats at no additional cost.
- Digital Goods Delivery: E-books are accessible for immediate download immediately upon confirmed purchase. Because digital items are permanently delivered, purchases cannot be canceled or reversed once completed.
- Re-download Guarantee: All purchased books remain stored under your "My Purchase Book" dashboard for unlimited future re-downloads.
